Size : 2GB (.iso)
Release Date : 26 Oct 2010

ABOUT THE GAME :

Shank is a 2D side-scrolling beat 'em up video game developed by Canadian independent studio Klei Entertainment and published byElectronic Arts in 2010. It was released on August 24 for the PlayStation 3, on August 25 for the Xbox 360, and on October 26 forMicrosoft Windows. In December 2011, it was re-released as part of the collection Humble Indie Bundle 4.

The game features melee and ranged combat, as well as acrobatic gameplay. Its plot was penned by the God of War series' co-writer Marianne Krawczyk and tells the tale of the ex-hitman Shank's quest for revenge in the single-player campaign, also featuring aprequel story in the form of a cooperative multiplayer campaign for two players.

Shank received mixed reviews, but generally positive reception overall. Critics generally praised the art style of both the gameplay and cutscenes, however some critics felt the game had uneven level design and repetitive gameplay. The game was commercially successful, selling tens of thousands of copies and remaining in the top 20 Xbox Live Arcade games during September 2010.

STORY :

Featuring a unique art style inspired by graphic novels and golden age comics, Shank blends the intensity of classic 2D side-scrolling action games with a gripping and mature storyline. Betrayed by the only family he ever knew and left for dead it's up to Shank to seek revenge for the death of his beloved at the hands of the underworld's deadliest assassins. Utilizing his knowledge of gang warfare and weaponry Shank must battle his way through the criminal underground in order to seek revenge against the people responsible for bringing his world crashing down around him.

UPDATE Fixed:

1. Shank runs at double speed
This was caused by refresh rates that we didn't support. A fix has been made to add support for arbitrary refresh rates, and the game should run fine now.

2. Achievements not unlocking
There were some instances where a disconnect from Steam would cause users not to unlock a trophy. We put in a check so that on level start it will award any trophies that you earned but haven't been awarded yet.
Please note that we were unable to reproduce this issue in house, so we have no way of knowing if this fix resolves the issue. If it doesn't, honestly we're not sure how we would go about resolving the problem.

3. Game does not load your save game
So far, we've been unable to reproduce this issue, but we made an educated guess and put in a possible fix. Additionally, it's been reported that a workaround is to enter a co-op game, then return to the main menu. This then resolves your save/load issue.

4. Shank needs to activate every time we launch the game
We've fixed this issue - in this update, activation will no longer be necessary.
Also: After the update, a file related to activation may remain on your machine. If this file is present on your machine and you wish to delete it, you will find it in your \shank\bin folder. The file is named "activation.x64.dll."

5. Game displays a black screen instead of gameplay
This has been narrowed down to graphics cards that don't support pixel shaded 3.0. Unfortunately, our game requires ps3.0 to run.

6. Game loads, then shuts down immediately
The libraries that Shank uses requires SSE2 instructions. If this happens to you, then most likely your CPU does not  support SSE2. We now adding a warning so the game lets you know the reason it is shutting down. The most frequent example of this is the Athlon XP CPU.

HOW TO INSTALL THE UPDATE :

1. Unpack the included rar files.
2. Run Shank.Update.1.exe and install
3. Copy the cracked content from SKIDROW directory to your main installation directory and overwrite.
4. Play the game
